Welcome/ Pre-Trip Video
Welcome to the first edition of the Fleet Ready Truck Tips series.

Again and again we have customers asking questions about how to get the most out of their trucks. Instead of just answering these questions individually as they come up, we decided to proactively provide this info to all our customers. This education outreach will include a series of video tips. Our first tip covers something we’re asked about all the time; how to do a proper Pre-Trip Inspection.

We all know pre-trips aren’t done enough and it’s mostly because drivers either don’t know what to look for or they think it takes too long. This video shows all of the components to check in the inspection and uses an efficient path through the truck to complete it as quickly as possible.

The first video is on a box-truck, as this is the most common type of vehicle our customers have. We’ll be adding more videos to cover additional types of vehicles in the future.

Online Service Request Feature Added

We recently conducted a survey of our customers and came away with some great feedback to provide you with better service.

Several customers wanted a more convenient way to schedule repairs and maintenance. In response we created a way to submit a service request right on our website. Simply visit www.fleetready.com/schedule-service and fill out the form.

Andy, our service advisor, will receive the request and follow-up with you in a timely manner.
You can also call or email Andy directly at AndyF@fleetready.com or 603-598-4902.

Hino Battery Cable Recall

As a certified Hino Parts and Service Dealer, we are ready to help you with any warranty, or out of warranty, Hino service or parts need.

Recently, Hino issued a recall on a battery cable for all 2005 through 2011 and some 2012 trucks. Failure in the battery cable could result in an electrical fire, and all trucks affected should have the cable replaced. We have the replacement part in stock, so if you haven’t had yours replaced yet, give Andy a call at 603-598-4902 or schedule your service online

(Please note a complete VIN will be needed so we can verify that your truck is effected by the recall.)

Community Outreach/ FIRST Robotics Award

At Fleet Ready we feel it’s important to give back to our community. For the last 10 years our president, Mike Pettengill Sr., has been the head coach for the Londonderry High School FIRST Robotics Team.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a robotics program geared towards inspiring students of all ages to get excited about science, technology and engineering. Teams design, build and program a robot in 6 weeks with the help of adult mentors and coaches to compete in a new game each year.

Recently, at the Pine Tree Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in Maine, Mike was awarded the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. This award recognizes mentors who lead, inspire, and empower using excellent communication skills.

Of the thousands of mentors involved with FIRST, this award is issued to less than 50 mentors. We are honored that this year’s award was presented to Mike.
